Lobbying Registrations set to expire at the end of 2020 will remain active until July 1, 2021

Pursuant to Sub. H.B. 404, your lobbying registrations set to expire at the end of 2020 will remain active until July 1, 2021. If you do NOT plan to continue your lobbying activity in 2021, you must contact Lobbying Compliance Coordinator Jason Hastings at jhastings@jlec.state.oh.us. Please note the extension articulated in Sub. H.B. 404 is limited to current lobbying engagements.  Should you obtain new clients in 2021, you will need to submit registrations in the usual manner.  The extension of the renewal deadline does NOT affect your obligation, or deadline, to file your Activity & Expenditure Reports.

The renewal registration window will open in late spring 2021.  You will receive follow-up information from JLEC regarding specific dates.

Please note: Lobbyists and Employers must still file their September – December 2020 Activity & Expenditure Reports electronically in OLAC by Monday, February 1, 2021.
